Today, on the 33rd anniversary of Sammy’s passing, the Sammy Davis Jr. Estate is thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new website. We have been hard at work developing a site that will showcase Sammy’s talents – from the things you all know and love to special pieces from our archives.

A big year for the Estate is approaching – 2025, the 100th anniversary of Sammy’s birth. We have a lot of fun, exciting things in store and can’t wait to take you along for the ride. The new website, along with our existing social media sites, will be the first place we’ll share events, product launches and more with you.

With this launch and the centennial celebration in mind, we are on the lookout for any Sammy memorabilia or connections we can find to preserve his legacy. Sammy artifacts and stories are around every corner, and if you or someone you know has something to share with us, please reach out on our Contact Page. We love hearing from you – whether you knew Sammy, have a unique story, are a collector, or are simply a big fan.

We’d like to thank the following people who were instrumental in launching the website today and the individuals who help keep Sammy’s legacy alive. We couldn’t have done this without you!

Paul Lacovou – Thank you for launching the first official Sammy site (SammyDavis-Jr.com) and lovingly shepherding it since 1996. You have been a major help in keeping the memory of Sammy alive in the public consciousness for the past 27 years. Amazing!

Jamie and Lyrian McGregor – Thank you for your tireless efforts in assisting with the design and interface of our new website as well as creating the fabulous fan-made, in-depth database on all things Sammy at SammyDavisJr.info.

In addition, special thanks to Sonia Davis and Grace Montoya for being instrumental in all things Sammy – we see you and are grateful for you.

And, most importantly, thank you to the fans. We see all of your messages on Facebook and Instagram. We see your comments on YouTube. We see the records you’re spinning, the photos you’re sharing, the stories you’re telling ... and we can’t thank you enough. Whether you’ve been following along since Sammy was playing at The Sands or just discovered him during the end credits of Hawkeye, we’re glad you’re here.

Keep coming back for more updates. Until then ... Peace, love and togetherness.
